A WORD OF THANKS…

Friends, I ask for your prayers from time to time only because of the reality of the “bigness” of what God has called KNIGHTsong Ministries to do.  I all too often realize my unworthiness to carry such a message of hope.  That being said, I wanted to share with you a note of appreciation from the McKinney family… Seth’s family.  Seth’s memorial is Friday @ 2pm ET, in his school gym during school in North Carolina.  Pray that many come to Christ because of this family’s loss.

Grab a kleenex, maybe an entire box, then sit back and read the following.  I’ll just bet that you will end up in a worship service just like I did.

From their Pastor…

On behalf of Tony & Mariah McKinney & their family, they wish to express their sincere gratitude for all of the prayers that went up on behalf of their son Seth in the past 2 days. Seth had placed all of his trust in Christ Jesus and had a true relationship with the Father, and due to that fact alone, he is now safely in the arms of our Lord & Savior. Please continue to pray for the entire family, including Seth’s siblings, Alex & Tyler, that our Father will fill them with His presence, and strengthen them as they go thru this incredibly difficult season. In death, Seth has shared life with so many, as he donated his living organs to those in need.  Here is a personal note from Mariah (Mom):

All we can say is that you true intercessors honored Seth’s memory and his legacy, by being so devoted to God.

There is nothing greater than believers coming together to storm the gates of hell! We appreciate you all on a personal level, and thank God so much for you. It is an unbelievable blessing. Below is a poem that Seth wrote himself for an assignment at Mitchell High School. He turned it in on Monday, but his father Tony said, for some reason he dated it with Tuesdays date. Papa J says it is a truly anointed love note from God to us, knowing He was about to call one of his precious ones home.

Seth was speaking this to us all, even beyond the grave for us to TRUST in God, to lighten our burdens, and to be at peace. Read it, and ponder on it in your heart. You will think you are reading words of wisdom from King Solomon, but really you are reading words directly from the heart of God, by a son who now sits on His lap in his eternal home.

When troubles are greater
So is His grace
The burdens are lightened
To those who seek His face

In ALL things strength is provided
Even when times are tough
When the strife is like a raging sea
The hope of tomorrow pulls through the rough

When the wretchedness increases
His mercies grow greater
When the terrible tribulations try to tempt
The troubles are on the shoulders of the creator

When the worst days are on their way
He gives strength stronger than a boulder
When there’s need He gives wisdom
And the young ones seem much older

Gentle like an elephant
His might is a lion
All people are equal
But He chose those on Zion

He loves all people
Like a moth loves a lamp
When the troubles grow heavy
His love is a medicinal camp

When troubles are greater
So is His grace
The burdens are lightened
To those who seek His face
