No real blog here, just a little housekeeping. I wanted to update you on a few items before I go to Facebook with some of them.
FIRST… We have postponed our final “Homecoming” scheduled for November 4. We’re just not quite ready, so we’re postponing till early spring.
SECOND… I’m working on an “end of the Journey of a Lifetime” video that I hope to release before Thanksgiving. It will bring you up to date with all the goings on of this year as well as our plans for the future… and I might say, they are exciting!
THIRD… (And closely associated with the SECOND), A while back I asked you to pray about a couple possibly big deals for us. Both of these special opportunities are still in the works, one will likely have an announcement in about three weeks. You will hear about it here first!
Thanks for your continued prayers. We have been based out of Greenville for a few weeks, but we leave in a couple days for two weeks in Arkansas and Missouri. We will then be based out of Greenville for a couple more weeks and then a trip to a small town near Rockport Texas. This will be the last tour of our “Journey of a Lifetime”, and I think it will be very special. Shaunda and I gave it some thought and prayer, and we decided that it would not be right to take any money out of that hurricane ravaged area, so we plan to make this last trip a mission trip of sorts. We plan to return any offering to the sponsoring Church, and make TEARS IN A BOTTLE available free of charge to share our message of hope with those who have had such a tough time. God has been so good to us over these two years. Please pray that we can give back a bit to some folks who have been through so much.
